Still my favorite
I turned on the TV after getting home from the Sundance Film Festival last night to find that this movie was on TBS :

I'm surprised by how often I can hear Jan saying "20,000 dollars" in my head. What a great movie.
I'm glad that there are only a few of us that truly appreciate this movie for what it is. I think some people pretend to like it, but we all know there are no more than 5 of us who TRULY love it. I also watched it on TBS yesterday. I had forgotten about something ALice says, but was quickly reminded that it was one of my favorites. Its when she says, "Probably eat out."
Oh, Alice KILLED me watching it. I loved when She was putting all that meat into the oven while Marcia was saying something about Davy Jones not responding to her letter and Alice says, "You think waiting a few weeks for the answer is bad...try waiting 20 years for the question." then moves her head to the side in that signature way. I was dying.
I cannot believe I haven't seen this movie.
I am frequently in situations where I say, "There's got to be a way to make $20,000." It's perfect for loads of occasions.
I'm not going to pretend that I like that movie. But I do love hearing you Brady Bunch lovers quoting it.
I thought the Book of Mormon movie was your favorite?
I do love the Book of Mormon movie, but for different reasons. Most of the movies I like are good, low-quality cinema. But this Brady Bunch Movie is, in my opinion, a genuine work of brilliance. It actually stuns me how good it is.
