Oh no!

I came home from school just about 10 minutes ago and, upon looking in the mirror, found that I had unknowingly been walking around like this:

!!!. I may as well have been wearing a pair of flip flops with my jeans.

I was cheered up, though, when I remembered that this beautiful book came for me today in the mail:

Royal Skousen thinks the world of this book, which means there's a great chance that I will too.

HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAAH. One of my many pet peeves. An abercrombie and fitch belt and up-turned collar would've been the cherry on top.

This reminds me of something I read recently:

So, on his left side, he tucked the shirt in, to show his trim figure and stylish belt buckle. “What a handsome young man,” you might say, “If he gets that shirt washed, he may date my daughter.” But his right side is untucked, like the shirt of a wild man, a renegade, a scoundrel. “What is that guy up to? Why is his shirt untucked? Does he not give a damn about me and my rules?”

I was actually hoping that you did that on purpose and was a little nervous that someone might have seen you with your popped collar, flips and naturally looking orange skin-so just to be sure, made the post for your safety! thats ok jordan, you pull off the "tuck in" quite nicely! Jokes, but for reals, thank you for having a blog for my sake-i know happy times with your blog are just around the corner!

I have that book. It is beautifully designed and has oodles of useful information.

Tufte books are expensive, but are also the kind one likes to preserve on one's bookshelf for generations to come.

I was trolling through blogs while I should have been working, and I came across yours, via Spencer Sandstroms blog (wholly unimpressive by the way, since there are no updates). Anyway, this post made me laugh, so I thought I would leave you a message. This is Nick Burt by the way. Anyway, hope all is well.
